As well as cold hard cash, you will receive an author bio with one 2 sentences about you and your love for iTech. Your bio will also include one follow link to your site (if you have one).
This can be a nice recurring revenue stream for yourself as we are looking for 20+ pieces of content per month!
Content We Are Looking For
We are looking for unique, useful content that will help our readers achieve something. Either an understanding of how something works or a unique way to do something. Here are some do’s & don’ts for ways to create content for us.
As a contributor, you are able to come up with your own unique content ideas.
Here are the types of articles we are looking for:
- Tutorials for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch
- App tutorials
- Tricks for doing things with your apps/device
- “Best” comparison’s (Best case, Best charger, etc.)
- Ways to be productive with your device
- MORE — the sky is the limit
Pay attention to your grammar and spelling. We do not want to have to edit your entire post. Grammarly is very helpful.
Make your posts at least 500 words. Sometimes longer is better. The topic will determine the length. If you are doing a tutorial, make it long enough for the reader to be able to achieve their goal.
Include screenshots/images. Especially in tutorials! We have an account at depositphotos.com, please feel free to let us know which image you would like and we can get a paid one for you. For tutorials, your own images are great. Screenshots make life easier.
Use internal links when it makes sense. Get familiar with our other content so you can link to other posts.
Create attention-grabbing headlines.
Have a keyword in mind.
Never steal someone else’s content! We use plagiarism checkers and if we find your content has been plagiarized you will not be compensated and you will no longer be allowed to write for us. No warnings for this.
Don’t use your own affiliate links in a post. Want to use ours? Let us know first.
Don’t make it too personal. We don’t want opinions or controversial topics (religion, politics, trash talk, etc.).
Don’t repost the content on any other site (including writer profiles). You may link to the post if you would like.
