Music streaming is always a must for iPhone and iPad users, especially when you’re on the go. But most of us face two problems.
- Dealing with premium subscription
- Not having the ability to download your favorite music and listen to them offline
If you look at Spotify and Pandora, for example. These two services allow you to listen to the artist of your choice, but the ability to download their songs is unavailable. Therefore, if you don’t have mobile data or can’t afford to sacrifice them, then you can’t listen to music offline.
Here is a better solution…
I recently discovered this app from the App Store. But it was quickly taken down by Apple. Luckily, the developer was kind enough to release their IPA file to the public. This allows anyone with an iOS device to sideload BobbyMusic to their iPhone or iPad without jailbreaking the device.
In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you the quick and easy way of getting this music app.
How to Install BobbyMusic Without Jailbreak
- Download the BobbyMusic IPA file from here
- You’re going to need Cydia Impactor (get it)
- Connect your iOS device to the computer
- Drag and drop the .IPA file to Cydia Impactor
- Enter your Apple ID and password
In case Impactor prompted you to update the tool, please do so as it fixes a lot of problems people recently experienced. BobbyMusic will be installed on your iPhone.
You won’t be able to open it yet. To launch the app, read this set of instructions on how to trust its certificate. Then go back to the home screen and open BobbyMusic.
This music streaming app will let you listen to some of the hottest songs on the Billboard charts. It also has data from previous weeks, so you don’t have to be restricted with the current ranking.
Remember how I mentioned offline listening?
Well, BobbyMusic lets you download songs and keep it on the app. As a result, when you turn off both Wi-Fi and cellular data, you can still listen to music. Give it a try and let us know how BobbyMusic works out for you.
