We did a separate post explaining what it means to have a semi-untethered jailbreak and what is a proper way to keep the current jailbreak status whenever a reboot was done on your iOS device. For many people, it works flawlessly.
However, there are many beginners out there that follow the instructions on how to re-jailbreak the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak. Sometimes, they may think they did everything as instructed, but that’s not the case a lot of time. As a result, they found themselves unable to use any installed jailbreak tweaks or themes and Cydia doesn’t work at all.
A new tweak was released today called Initialized that aims to change all this. It helps users know if their jailbroken iOS device is really “jailbroken.”
For example, you rebooted your iPhone or iPad. And then you launch the PP app to start the jailbreak again because that’s what you suppose to do. After that, the device will boot up. This is when the Initialized tweak does its magic. From the lock screen, you will see a message that says, “Initialized. The Jailbreak has been initialized. Enjoy!”.
If you see this pop up on your lock screen, that means everything has been setup correctly.
How to Install Initialized for iOS 9.2 – 9.3.3 Jailbreak
Shoutout to developer Ziph0n for making such a useful tweak.
Step 1: Go to Cydia and reload your sources
Step 2: Visit the Changes tab or use the Search option
Step 3: Look for Initialized and Install it
Upon installation, there will be options for you to adjust in the Settings page. It’s now available from the BigBoss repo for free. Grab it while you can.
