Ever since I updated to iOS 9.3.3 for jailbreaking purposes. My Control Center feel a little bloated.
Yes, one icon could change everything. Normally, when you launch your Control Center, there are four quick shortcuts at the bottom.
These include Flashlight, Timer, Calculator, and Camera.
But starting in iOS 9.3.x, there is another toggle. This little icon can now activate the Night Shift feature that Apple introduces back in March.
I don’t know about you, but I never make use of this shortcut. It bothers to have a useless toggle between the ones that I’m actively using.
Luckily, developer iKilledAppl3 was able to come up with a tweak called NukeCCNiteShift.
It’s a free tweak, so why not?
This package will allow you to remove the Night Shift toggle from the Control Center in iOS 9.3 and higher.
Leaving you with the iOS 9.2.1 or lower look. Isn’t it great?
Step 1: First thing you want to do is launch Cydia
Step 2: Wait for all the sources to update. This can take awhile depending on how many repository you’ve added
Step 3: If you’re reading this on the release date, you can find the tweak from the Changes tab. If not, use Search tab and type in NukeCCNiteShift
Step 4: Select Install, Confirm, and Respring
According to the developer, this tweak should work upon installing. Using NukeCCNiteShift does not remove the entire Night Shift feature, you can still activate it in the Settings app.
Further, not only that it works with the stock Control Center but also many others including Auxo 3. Give it a go and let us know how you like it.
