As you may of know, customizing the elements on your iPhone or iPad is limited, especially when it comes to their traditional boot logo and background colors that appear to the user every time they restart or turn on their iOS device.
Sometimes, even if your device is not jailbroken, it’s possible to customize the iPhone layout a bit, and we’ve covered this before. However, if you didn’t jailbreak your iPhone or iPad yet, this customizing the iOS boot screen is nowhere near possible.
With that being said, I’d like to introduce to you a new jailbreak tweak called BootScreenCustomization. This package is obviously for jailbroken devices, and it allows you to get rid of the boring black and white colors of the boot screen. Usually, you would see either a black background with a white apple logo or vice versa depending on the iOS version you’re on.
With this tweak, users can freely adjust their boot screen colors to however they want. Again, the colors are black background and white Apple logo or the opposite based on your iOS version. This Cydia tweak provides additional colors to each part (background and the logo). One thing I wish the developer could add was the color picker instead of a still color.
But with a free tweak like this one. For sure people can now get rid of their boring black and white boot up screen in iOS.
You can download BootScreenCustomization tweak from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free. I tested this on iOS 9, and it works perfectly fine. Let me know in the comment section below if enjoy it as well.
