When you update your iPhone to iOS 8.2 or higher, you will notice there is a new app being installed on your device.
This isn’t any others but the Watch app that we all tossed in the “BE GONE” folder if you don’t own an Apple Watch. I mean it’s useless without the actual watch anyways.
But for some people with an Apple Watch, they can’t seem to find the Watch app on their iPhone. Now, the real Watch is useless.
The Watch app allows Apple Watch owners to pair their device with an iPhone. Furthermore, this application will allow you to customize your watch settings right on your iPhone.
If you think you’ve accidentally deleted the Watch app, stop panicking because it’s not possible to uninstall the application except in iOS 10. I recently experienced the same issue as well, but luckily, there are some ways to resolve this problem.
Apple Watch app is missing on iPhone
Okay, some of you might never think of using the built-in Search feature on your iPhone, but right now it’s your best bet.
- Swipe down from the home screen.
- You will see the Search bar.
- Type in Watch and there it’s — your Watch app.
If the result shows up as blank or different apps, simply restart your iPhone. I know, this is a weird fix but give it a try.
After that, you should see the Apple Watch app on your iPhone again. If you can’t find it because you’re not used to the app’s icon, then use the Search option.
I hope that helps and be sure to let me know what other problems you guys run into while using your Apple Watch. I would love to find out and provide you with solutions.
